Practice Rooms

With a faculty of over forty distinguished tutors, two recital halls (with model ‘D’ and ‘B’ Steinways), over 100 practice rooms , on-site accommodation and meals, Chetham’s has proved time and time again to be an outstanding  course, a universal haven for everyone who loves the piano.

Please indicate on the application form how much daily practice you would like. The rooms are open from 7am until 11pm so there are many hours available to work as well as to listen to the inspirational faculty on the course. Participants will be allocated their own room, which they will label with a name badge for the week. All participants share their room with one or two other participants. There will be more than 9 hours a day per room, and with the rooms open for 16 hours there are plenty of hours in the day to share around.
All the teaching rooms are generally free from 4.30 pm and everyone is welcome to play any piano that is free including the beautiful Steinways.
