With a faculty of over sixty distinguished tutors, seven recital halls (with model ‘D’ and ‘B’ Steinways), over 100 practice rooms , on-site accommodation and meals, Chetham’s has proved time and time again to be an outstanding course, a universal haven for everyone who loves the piano.
The course is further enhanced with a new state-of-the-art building which was used for the first time in 2012. The practice facilities and teaching rooms are of exceptional standard together with four new exciting recital spaces.
Please indicate on the application form how much daily practice you would like. The rooms are open from 6am until 11pm so there are many hours available to work as well as to listen to the inspirational faculty on the course. Most rooms are shared by two or three participants and with the rooms open for 17 hours a day there is plenty of time to organise a schedule.
Many of the teaching rooms are free before 8.45am and from 4.30 pm and everyone is welcome to play any piano that is free including the beautiful Steinways.
