Complete piano works of John McLeod
Murray McLachlan will perform the complete John McLeod Piano Music in four late night recitals (well over 140 minutes of exciting, vibrantly individual sonatas and pieces). John is the first 'composer in residence' on the summer school and was recently awarded the CBE. He is without question one of the most outstanding composers of modern times.

Beethoven Piano concerto series
The 2017 course makes history this evening in the first of 4 orchestral concerts featuring all 5 piano concertos of Beethoven and the Choral Fantasy. With the impressive new Stoller Hall, it is now possible to host orchestral concerts featuring world class pianists from the faculty. We welcome the Stockport symphony orchestra and conductor Stephen Threlfall. Not to be missed!
