Recital with Balázs Szokolay
We are thrilled to welcome Professor Szokolay to Chetham's for the first time. A prizewinner at many international piano and chamber music competitions he is now also a hugely respected teacher. His students have won more than 50 international prizes in different music competitions. He is a professor in Weimar at the F.Liszt Academy of Music.

Adam Gorb is one of the leading lights of British music, being widely performed and winning awards.His works have been performed by the BBC Philharmonic Orchestra, the Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra, the Maggini Quartet, the BBC Singers, the Tokyo Kosei Wind Ensemble, the Royal Marines and the Liverpool 10/10 ensemble.

Young Artists Recital - Xinyuan Wang
We are thrilled to welcome Xinyuan Wang to Chetham's to give a recital in the Young Artist Series. In September 2018, Xinyuan was awarded 3rd prize and the Medici tv Audience Award at the Leeds International Piano Competition.

Recital with Angela Hewitt - The Goldberg Variations
One of the world’s leading pianists, Angela Hewitt makes a welcome debut at the Stoller Hall. Her interpretations of the music of J.S. Bach have established her as one of the composer’s foremost interpreters of our time.
Tonight Angela performs Bach’s Goldberg Variations, long regarded as the most important set of variations composed in the Baroque era.
