Composer in Residence - Alexander Rosenblatt

1971-1975- Academic Musical College at the Moscow Conservatory, piano (Pavel Messner-teacher)

1971-1982 -Moscow Conservatory ( piano- Messner, musicologie -Jovanni Mikchailov)

A.Rosenblatt was the first in MC history who wrote His diploma devoted to jazz -" Piano Jazz Performing in USA of 1940-1960th"

1983-1993-teacher in the High Gnesin College, jazz faculty( history of music , jazz ensemble, jazz harmony, jazz orchestration).

1985 - till now -composing music in any genres: 3 piano sonatas, 2 cello sonatas, ballet " Alice adventures in Wonderland", concertos for Violin and orchestra, Alpen Horn and strings,French Horn and strings,Piano and orchestra,Bass-guitar and strings,a lot of piano solo and duo pieces,sextet for woodwind and piano;many variations and fantasies: Paganini and Chopin variations,Carmen and Rimsky-Korsakov fantasies ( for Clarinet and piano,2 pianos, Violin and piano), "Waltzing with Mussorgsky" for piano, drums, jazz-bass and orchestra,Polovtsian Fantasy for piano and strings, Wagneriana and Liszt-fantasy for piano.

1993-till now -performing in piano duo with Oleg Sinkin ( winner of All-Russian competition). Duo toured in Germany, Japan, Estonia,etc.

1998-2008- Ice-chow "Alice" staged by "Bolshoi on Ice" leaded by EC Igor Bobrin toured all over the world including Korea, USA, France, Switzerland.

1999 -A.Rosenblatt became one of the winners of the "Vth Tokyo piano duo compositions competition".( Concertino on 2 Russian themes)

A.Rosenblatt collaborates with many prominent artists and orchestras- among them:
Sergey Nakariakov, Alexander Ghindin, Nikolay Lugansky, David Stern, Vladimir Spivakov and " Moscow Virtuosi",Arcady Schilkloper,Anton Dressler ,Pavel Vernikov, Nikolay Tokarev, Dinara Clinton,Sergey Dogadin... RNO, Kremlin -Orchestra, Bavarian Chamber Orchestra, etc...

CD's with Rosenblatt's music were released in Germany,Japan, UK by Tri-M, Sony.de, Solo Musica, Meridian Records.

A.Rosenblatt has an exclusive contract with Schott Music since 2010th.

2012- Augsburg commissioned the Violin concerto dedicated to Leopold Mozart anniversary( performers- Bavarian Chamber Orchestra, Sergey Dogadin, David Stren)

2013 - "Kashtanka" after A.Chehov for narrator and orchestra was commissioned by Vladimir Spivakov.

2015- Rosenblatt composed "Jazz-Rokoko variations for cello and orchestra commissioned by festival "Vivacello".

The festival was concluded by this piece performed by Boris Andrianov and "Moscow Virtuosi" in the Tchaikovsky Hall. Conductor -author.

2017- Concert for Bass , Drums, Piano and strings commissioned by Anton Davidyants.

2018- Fantasie-Humoresque "Verdi meets Rossini" for Trumpet and Strings commissioned by Sergey Nakariakov.
