Robyn Koh

Robyn Koh was educated at Chetham’s School of Music, Manchester. She made her début as concerto soloist on the piano aged sixteen in Moscow, performing also in Kiev and Leningrad. Four years later, she graduated with Honours from The Royal Academy of Music, London on both piano and harpsichord. Post-graduate studies followed at The Royal Northern College of Music, Manchester and subsequently at the Mozarteum, Salzburg.
Robyn has performed widely in UK (including at the Wigmore Hall, Barbican and the South Bank), in Scandinavia and the rest of Europe, South-East Asia and USA (including Lincoln Center) and appeared on radio & television in countries including Iceland, France and Malaysia. A Licenciate of the Royal Academy of Music and an Associate of the Royal College of Music, Robyn has recorded for NAXOS and received awards including from The Craxton Memorial Trust and The Young Concert Artists Trust. Currently based in London, Robyn devotes much of her time to teaching as well as freelancing as pianist and harpsichordist, with a specialist interest in the field of ‘historically-informed-performances’ and contemporary harpsichord repertoire where she has been privileged to premičre several works written especially for her.
